The City of Minneapolis has provided an update regarding the appeal by 1717 Developers, LLC of the Heritage Preservation Commission’s decision to deny a Certificate of Appropriateness to demolish the historic Cook House, located at 948 18th Avenue NE.
According to City Planner Rob Skalecki, there was a date error in the original public notice that went out. As a result, the Business, Housing & Zoning (BHZ) Committee will continue the appeal hearing to their next meeting on Thursday, November 13, at 10:00 a.m. New notices will be sent to reflect this correction.
The public hearing still opened at the BHZ Committee meeting on Monday, October 28; however, it was continued until the meeting on November 13.
The marked agenda and video from the October 28, BHZ Committee are available here.
The November 13th BHZ Committee meeting agenda will eventually be available at https://lims.minneapolismn.gov/v2/
