DESCRIPTION:The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association invites you to join us for a fun and meaningful Earth Day Clean-Up and Spring Art Fun event on Saturday\, April 18\, at the Beltrami Park Building (1111 Summer St NE). \nFrom 9:00 a.m. to Noon\, neighbors of all ages are encouraged to help clean up our community while enjoying free food and coffee. Volunteers can also take part in a raffle featuring items from Tare Market and explore our resource fair\, which will include: \n\nMaster Gardeners from the University of Minnesota Extension\nWild Ones\nThe City Recycling Coordinator from Minneapolis Recycling\n\nYou’ll learn more about gardening\, native plants\, recycling\, and sustainability resources available right here in our neighborhood. \nFrom 12:00–1:00 p.m.\, stick around for a Spring Arts & Crafts event\, perfect for kids and families to celebrate Earth Day with creativity and hands-on fun. \nWhether you can stay for an hour or the whole event\, this is a great opportunity to care for our neighborhood\, connect with neighbors\, and celebrate Earth Day together. Together\, they’ll share practical tips\, seasonal insights\, and resources to help gardeners of all experience levels have a successful year. \nWe’ll also take time to gather community feedback and hopes for the 2026 garden season\, followed by a dedicated Q&A where you can ask questions and learn directly from our garden experts. \nWhether you’re a seasoned gardener or just getting started\, we hope you’ll join us to connect\, learn\, and kick off another great growing season together.
