CALL FOR ARTISTS: GRACO PARK TUNNEL ART PROJECT!
Calling all artists! The City of Minneapolis is seeking artists and artist teams to create a new public artwork for the tunnel connecting Graco Park and Boom Island Park.
This is an exciting opportunity to help create something meaningful in our Northeast Minneapolis community! Artists at all skill levels and those working in a variety of materials and scales are encouraged to apply.
The selected artist or team will design and create artwork for the tunnel interior, with an emphasis on understanding the history of the area, connections to local communities and meaningful community engagement.
💰 Project Budget: $250,000
📅 Artist Informational Meeting: October 5 at 5 p.m.
❓ Questions Due: October 7 at 4 p.m.
📝 Intent to Apply Due: October 16 at 5 p.m.
🎨 Completed Applications Due: October 26 at 5 p.m.
