The Community Connections Conference is an annual free event that connects residents of Minneapolis, community groups, neighborhoods, and local government.
The 2022 Community Connections Conference will now be held on Saturday, May 21, at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Hall B, Level One. The conference was originally planned for Feb. 12, 2022, but was postponed in light of high transmission rates of COVID-19 and uncertainty surrounding the omicron variant, which was detected in Minnesota in late November.
This year’s conference theme is “forward together.” This theme welcomes all communities to reconnect with the City and get involved in moving Minneapolis forward.
Opportunities to get involved, exhibit or volunteer will be announced soon.
Conference goals
We host this conference so that:
- Residents, community groups, neighborhood organizations, City of Minneapolis departments and decision-makers can connect.
- All communities feel welcome to get involved in local decision-making.
- Residents learn about programs and policies that affect them.
