Are you interested in earning up to $600 supporting your neighborhood and community?! The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association (LNENA) Renter Education and Engagement Program (REEP) creates opportunities for residents to earn money by being engaged. The goals are to build relationships between LNENA and the Lower Northeast renter population, and also increase livability and community connection for people who rent homes in Beltrami and Northeast Park.
Selected participants will earn up to $100 per month while participating in up to 4 hours of service projects, training/education and civic participation per month, for a maximum of 6 months.
LNENA will provide meaningful service opportunities to build commitments to the neighborhood, such as: volunteering at events and neighborhood committees, office administration, social media posts, community garden volunteer support, neighborhood walk patrols, door knocking, and more.
In addition to these service opportunities, LNENA will offer tenant rights education, homeownership training, leadership training, and education on neighborhood organizations, their history, and their role in community engagement.
Program is open to anyone currently renting or signing a lease in the Beltrami or Northeast Park neighborhoods.
