Northeast Minneapolis Community Listening Session on Saturday, September 12 at the Northeast Farmers Market

September 12 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

What makes Northeast Minneapolis a strong, connected, and resilient community? Jen Garman, a Northeast Minneapolis resident from the St. Anthony East neighborhood, wants to hear from neighbors.

Jen will host a casual Community Listening Session at the Northeast Farmers Market on Saturday, September 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Neighbors are invited to stop by anytime during the market to share their experiences, ideas, and perspectives about community, equity, nature, and resiliency in Northeast Minneapolis.

During the listening session, Jen will invite market-goers to consider three questions:

  • How have you connected with nature and community in Northeast Minneapolis?
  • What local organizations are advancing resiliency at the intersection of community, equity, and nature?
  • Over the past year, how have you found opportunities to engage, support, and connect with the Northeast community?

The goal is simple: to hear directly from neighbors about what makes Northeast a strong community and learn more about the people, organizations, places, and experiences that help residents feel connected.
