Are you passionate about making a difference in your neighborhood? Do you want to help shape the future of the Beltrami and Northeast Park neighborhoods in Northeast Minneapolis? Here’s your chance!
The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association (LNENA) is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our Board of Directors. Anyone who lives, works, owns a business or owns property in either the Beltrami or Northeast Park neighborhoods is eligible to run for a seat on the board.
Board Elections will take place at our Annual Meeting:
📅 Saturday, May 3, 2025
📍 Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St. NE
🕕 3:00 PM
Serving on the board is a rewarding way to get involved, meet neighbors, and work collaboratively on initiatives that enhance our community. Board members help guide LNENA’s mission, advocate for neighborhood priorities, and support programs that promote equity, safety, and livability. Responsibilities include attending monthly board meetings; participating on a committee; and volunteering at neighborhood events.
Who Should Consider Running?
We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and experiences. Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to the neighborhood, your voice matters. If you care about issues like public safety, community events, local business support, and neighborhood improvements, we encourage you to run.
