The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association invites you to take part in a Community Action Day at the Beltrami Community Garden, 1213 Spring Street, on Saturday, November 15, at 11:00 a.m.
We’ll be wrapping up the growing season with a Garden Cleanup and sharing a free hot meal with neighbors. Please bring your gloves and garden tools. LNENA will provide waste bags. We will be having chili (meat and vegetable options). This event is a great opportunity to connect with others, lend a hand, and celebrate another successful gardening season in Lower Northeast!
As part of this event, we’ll also be hosting a Food Drive to support the Good Works Food Shelf. If you’re able, please bring along donations of non-perishable food and household items. The food shelf is especially in need of:
- Spices
- Cooking oils
- Rice
- Pasta (all types)
- Laundry detergent
- Body wash
- Bathroom tissue
- Hand soap
- Dish soap
- Pancake mix and syrup
- Cereal (all types)
- Baking flour
Every contribution makes a difference and helps our neighbors in need. Come out, get your hands a little dirty, enjoy a meal, and help us share the good across Lower Northeast!
