Interested in turning food scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich compost for your garden? Hennepin County is offering several free backyard composting workshops this spring—both online and in person—to help residents get started.
These workshops will cover:
- How to set up a compost pile
- What materials you can (and can’t) compost
- How to get the right mix for successful composting
Whether you’re brand new to composting or looking to improve your system, these sessions are a great way to learn practical, easy-to-use tips.
