The Lower Northeast Neighborhoods Association will begin accepting applications for Community Garden Plots on a first-come, first-served basis starting:
Wednesday, April 1 at 10:00 a.m. We will post the application on the LNENA website.
We will give priority to residents of the Beltrami and Northeast Park neighborhoods.
Important Details
- The LNENA Community Garden is located at 1213 Spring Street.
- Garden Plot Fee: $50 (non-refundable, if selected)
- Gardeners must agree to the LNENA Community Garden Rules, Expectations and General Information as part of the application process. Please review prior to submitting your application form.
- Mandatory Garden Orientation: April 18 at 12:00 PM, at the Community Garden. All gardeners must attend.
- If you apply and are accepted, but are unable to attend the orientation, please contact: [email protected]
- Applicants are eligible to request a fee-waiver if they qualified to receive benefits from at least one of the following programs, or pertinent/substantially equivalent income eligibility criteria:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
- Medical Assistance/MinnesotaCare
- Women, Infants, and Children’s Program
- Income Qualified Home Energy/Weatherization
- Assistance Program
- Head Start
- Social Security Disability Insurance
