The Public Health Advisory Committee (PHAC):
- Provides advice and recommendations to the City Council and Mayor on policy matters affecting the health of Minneapolis residents
- Serves as liaisons between the community and the City in addressing health concerns and the delivery of health services
- Provides resident input on health department initiatives

- Helps build a more equitable, local, and sustainable food system in Minneapolis
- Advises the Mayor and City Council on food systems issues
